In Islam, traveling is praised and people are motivated to travel. Islam believes that in every place which becomes the center of tourists and travelers based on politeness and global rules of behavior, culture and religion will grow. Based on this, there are many verses in Quran talking about tourism on which we need to do research and think. The aim of this research is to investigate tourism in Quran. The present study was done to gather information about tourism by using a documentary method of studying verses and chapters of Quran to extract related materials on this subject. Then by using descriptive statistics and SPSS software, data analysis was done. The results show that there are about 14 verses about tourism in Quran, 11 of which have been descended in Mecca and 3 verses were descended in Medina. There are also 7 verses directly ordering to tourism or immigration and 7 verses indirectly referring to this issue. The main purpose of Quran in talking about tourism is for human to observe the facts concerning the destination of the deniers of the truth.
