The apparel industry in India is growing after the globalization and removal of Multi fibre agreement. China is major competitor for India with world leader in Apparel exports and India in second position. India has got more potential for apparel exports and this can be achieved by applying the Business drivers and growth factors which is discussed in this article. We have carried out survey among Apparel exporters and arrived at the following factors like Sales growth, Increase in profit, Overall product quality, overall competitive positioning Return on investment, Increase in efficiency, Increase in new customers/new product Retaining the existing customers.
