Abstract

This paper deals with the effects of a transverse magnetic field and thermal radiation on unsteady free convective flow past a parabolic started infinite vertical plate with variable temperature and mass diffusion. The Laplace transform technique is used to obtain the expression for velocity, temperature, and concentration field of the fluid. The expression for skin friction, the rate of heat transfer, and the rate of mass transfer are also obtained and discussed with the help of graphs. The influence of various physical parameters occurring in the problem on velocity, temperature, and concentration are extensively discussed.
