Abstract

Cloud computing is a virtualized computers that provides on demand to service applications. Cloud computing is used for delivering and managing the services in excess of the internet. Cloud computing provides data access and storage devices without the need for deep knowledge of the physical location of the end user. The tasks are represented as workflows, which are processed in a specific order based on their requisite services. Scheduling the tasks, so that the requested task can be completed in minimum time is a challenging issue in the cloud computing. And also the cost should be reduced. This paper implements Intelligent Water Drops (IWD) Algorithm which minimizes the overall make span of task scheduling and cost. The IWD Algorithm has load balancing ability which reduces the heavy load of the system.
