A Study on Job Evaluation among Nursing Faculties in selected Colleges at Kanyakumari District

The study is about ‘Job evaluation’ with reference to selected colleges at Kanyakumari District. The objective are to identify whether teamwork is important for the job, to identify this job require organizing ability, to identify this job require independent decision making. The need of the study includes that in every organization job evaluation techniques are used before and after recruiting the employees. Hence, it is more important to study the job evaluation techniques in order to increase the performance of the employees. The present study is non experimental and descriptive in design. The relationship between dependent and independent variables is identified by the use of Regression analysis. A sample of 50 respondents was taken by structured questionnaire. Data was then analyzed using regression analysis and F-test. Suggestions were provided to increase the performance of the workers.
