Family Mental Health in the Thought of Imam Reza (PBUH)

Abstract

Historical considerations and reflections to recognize the intellectual personality of Imam Reza (AS) and his role in moderating thoughts, reducing mental stress, preserving Islamic rationalism, strengthening of belief and verbal foundations, and sustaining genuine religious achievement had a special importance in mindset at that time. These features are not only observed in social and political life of Imam Reza, but are also seen in his only fruit of entity, his darling son Imam Jawad (AS). In this study, we investigated the effect of Imam Reza (AS) on the mental health of his family in which by a glance on the short life and full of blessing of Imam Jawad (AS) as the most important remnant of his family, one of the sayings of Imam Reza (AS) narrated by Imam Jawad (AS) is studied.
