Contentedness is an infinitive of contentment, and it means sufficiency, fullness, saturation, independence, fruitfulness and completeness. Imam Ali (AS) in Nahj al-Balagha could use different methods to satisfy the audience, including 1-informing the audience, 2-encouraging the audience, 3-humility, 4-expressing arguments, 5-honesty in speech, 6-adducing certain arguments, 7-contentedness through a model introduction, 8-contentedness through giving notice of future, 9-through expression of scientific issues, 10-contentedness through, 11-contentedness through advice and benevolence. In addition to acquainting the audience, he has emphasis on emotional as well as scientific aspect of his statements and has been able to influence his audience with no obligation but optionally. We know, to persuade people of society, we can not use force or coercion because its impact is negative. In many sermons, verbal and spiritual industry is used to draw the audience's attention more and make the audience associated with him.
