The current study employs the Taguchi design methodology to optimize the electrochemical micro machining (ECMM) processing parameters for the machining of Beryllium copper C17200. The experimental trials consider three ECMM parameters namely the Voltage, Concentration and Feed rate. The machined specimens were investigated for the surface roughness (Ra) using profilometer. The optimum machining parameters and the influence of the each variable on the Ra were determined by the analysis of means (ANOM) and analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods. The experimental results revealed the optimal combination of parameters for the minimum Ra. Eventually confirmation experiments were carried out to identify the efficiency of the method.
