The earth is covered by75 percent of water. so the communication in underwater is forced on major research in nowadays. In order to communicate and to be functional some specialized routing protocols are required to route the data from source to destination. This paper examines the main approaches and challenges in the design and implementation of underwater wireless sensor networks techniques with its application and its future trends.
