The study investigated the influence of influence of several stress factors in hotel employee's performance. It aimed at addressing the relationship between personal profile of employees and their attitude on impact of stress, influence of stress in employee's performance, precision of stress coping strategies, and level of satisfaction on employee welfare activities in the workplace. This study covers a sample 100 employees working in various functional areas of 5-star hotels in Tamilnadu. Data for the study is collected by presenting well-structured questionnaire in the hands of hotel employees. The survey instrument is designed with four parts that is, personal profile, and influence of stress in performance, stress coping strategies, and satisfaction on employee welfare. This study is employed percentage analysis, chi-square test, rotated component matrix, Friedman test and Kendall's Coefficient of Concordance to investigate the data. Results of the study indicate that there is no significant relationship between personal profile of hotel employees and their attitude on impact of stress in workplace. Different stress factors in hotel industry mostly influenced employees' performance. It is concluded that the hotel employees are aware about influence of stress in performance and existence of stress coping strategies to get relief in the stress.
