The author of this paper seeks to examine the concepts of tradition and modernity among the family adults and children in the novel Fasting Feasting. This paper is a study based on post-modernism about the elders in the family showing their dominance to follow traditions by the children and discrimination shown in bringing up the children belonging to the same family.
