To Investigate and improve Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) performance over wireless link in the direction from wired network to Multihop Adhoc network which Considerably reduces more unnecessary ACK packets by implanting certain changes in TCP. In this paper it is proposed a procedure in which it reduce the number of acknowledgments, maintains buffer at each node, messages to communicate regarding the route/link failures and detection of link failure using signal strength. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed method refers Transmission Control Protocol-Shooting of an Acknowledgement (TCP-SA) improves the performance of the general TCP.
