Most of the companies in Information Technology and non IT companies are migrating their applications to cloud environment. Cloud is a term which is providing the most of data center modules as services to the customer to shrink the Capital Expenses. But will it really reduce the power in cloud service provider's Datacenter? This paper explains about the resourceful power management by doing server consolidations assessment based on the applications reliance and precarious before moving into virtualization and cloud which will adequate power in cloud service provider data center.
