Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, OHSAS 18000 relates to the family of international standards grouping similar concerns over occupational health and safety management. OHSAS 18001 is an international standard giving sufficient information's and requirements related to health and safety management systems. OHSAS is jointly developed by many organizations across the world for a standardized certification standard. OHSAS 18001 is based on PDCI cycle (Pay-Do-Check-Improve). Through PDCI cycle, it is possible for an organization to OHSAS 18002 provides the standard guidelines for the process of implementing OHSAS 18001 in any firm. A study on occupational health and safety analysis to an automotives Private Limited company located at Kancheepuram Dist, Chennai. This industry has carried out the successful implementation of OHSAS for the past three years. The awareness of OHSAS is given to all the workers and a team is formed in the industry to measure and analyses the performance the implementation of OHSAS. This team will frequently visit once in every 3 months and the schedule and pattern of monitoring is also given to the industry for successful operation with OHSAS implementation.
