Safety and Quality Analysis Model in Construction Projects using Fuzzy Logic

Abstract

Most of the construction industry doesn't achieve the most management functions, namely safety and quality. Now a day's many factors which affect quality and safety in construction project. This research helps to identify the most important factors that affect safety and quality within the industry. The data's were collected through questionnaire survey from engineers, contractors and clients worked within the various construction industry. The collected data's were analyzed using relative importance index (RII) and ranking the factors based on percentage of relative importance and also this paper presents an application of fuzzy logic for developing quality and safety assessment model using Fuzzy toolbox of MATLAB Program software The results can facilitate the construction industry to take measures the factors causes lack of safety and quality in construction projects.
