This research article aims to understand the impact of HRM practices towards job satisfaction among staff nurses in Multispecialty hospitals. The various HRM practices chosen are: Job description, Support from supervisors, Training & development and Performance management. The most common human resource practices employed in hospitals are recruitment & selection and training for supporting staff. The researcher has carried out the survey in South Tamil Nadu and nearly 150 responses were collected, analyzed and interpreted. The study applies various analyses like Chi square test, Regression analysis and SEM model. From these analyses, it was noted that all the factors of HRM practices propounded in the study possess a greater impact on job satisfaction. In recent days, the HRM Practices are highly changing the faces of the Multi specialty hospitals in India. Like manufacturing sector, Service sectors are also involving in imparting value based training methods for the supporting staff and no doubt that the modern HR practices will be the backbone for the job satisfaction.
