Abstract

There are various health care delivery formats prevalent in India. Health care needs of the society are being met by practitioners of Ayurveda System, Siddha System, Unani-Tibb System, Homoeopathy System and Modern Medicine (Allopathy). These systems of health care delivery (viz. Ayurveda System, Siddha System, Unani-Tibb System, Homoeopathy System) though trying their best to meet the healthcare needs of the community further need to be integrated with Allopathy. Community will be better served if the various systems of health care delivery team up.
