Myth and Modernism

In this paper after talking about myth and its importance and function, myth position in modern world of today are explored. Actually, although these thousand-years old stories do not comply with modern world of today at all, though the seemingly modern world of today has rejected and negated past and whatever belongs to it, after passage of this era of fanaticism and unilateralism, mankind goes back to past. He has no escape but to return to roots and origins of himself. Approach to myth is also a kind of this return in reality.
