Abstract

One of the major challenges facing by the world is the availability of virgin materials for construction of a road network. Most materials which are not claimable are waste, thus we producing more wastes. This paper entitles in comparative study on various properties of recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) and recycled bituminous aggregate (RBA) with normal virgin aggregate (NVA) and Waste Vegetable Oil (WVO) with aged bitumen as a binder. Rheological properties of WVO and Age Hardened Bitumen was studied in proportion of 0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1%, 1.25%, 1.5% and founded the optimum usage of WVO with aged bitumen.. The Stability and tensile characteristics are employed by varying binder content from 5% to 7% with PVA (Poly Vinyl Alcohol) in terms of 1% to improve the flexural characteristics.
