Broadcasting in MANETs is a vital field of study among computer science enthusiasts and researchers. The primary goal in establishing and designing a MANET is to improve the broadcasting methods and techniques such that minimal amount of resources are used among the network nodes. One such way to optimize the broadcast expense is to cluster the network. In a Clustered MANET (C-MANET) resources can be scaled and utilized easily. Route Query Broadcast (RQB) is done to search the route but at times unnecessary Blind Query Broadcast (BQB) appears even after the route has been found, which leads to Broadcast Storm (BS) problem. This BS may lead to Query Congestion (QC) in the network. In this paper we propose a Query Broadcast Control (QBC) method for MANETs to retaliate the unwanted expenses incurred in broadcasting. The proposed technique CMBERS+ is optimized by GSO to perform better in terms of cluster formation. Because when clusters are formed and assembled properly, the communication in the network can be optimized and scaled in a better way.
