Health Insurance is important because health coverage helps people to get timely medical care and improves their lives and health. The objective of the present paper is to know the problems faced by the health insurance policy holders in Tiruchirappalli District. For the analysis of data Chi-square, ANOVA, and Factor analysis were applied. The study found that delay in policy settlement, excessive documentation, non-responsiveness on the part of the company were the major problems faced by the policy holders.
