A Performance Evaluation of ICT Infrastructure in the Academic Environment-A Study

As information technologies capabilities are amplified, they are being progressively more functional in all sectors of education and societies. The wide extend of ICT opens up new prospects for information institutions to strap up these technologies and services to serve up their purposes. For the past few years there have been many proposals and initiatives at highest level of government to endorse the construction of a global information infrastructure. This study briefs, the various aspects of collection infrastructure, access, software, manpower infrastructure etc. It also emphasis the diverse services and facilities provided to the users and also evaluated the performances of it.
