The present research study has been intended to know the adjustment of adolescent students in relation to their socio-economic status and parent-child relationship. For this purpose, the sample of 200 students of IX grade of different secondary schools of Amritsar city were taken. Results had shown that there is a certain impact of socio-economic status on adjustment of adolescent students. Parent-child relationship plays a significant role in the adjustment of adolescents. Parents of caring, protecting, rejecting and punishing nature affects the children's adjustment and also parents with high socio-economic status provides every facility to their children. Thus, children have healthy relationship with their parents. On the other hand, adolescents with low socio-economic status may find some difficulty in adjusting to different situations as compared to high socio-economic status adolescents who show better sign of adjustment in the present study.
