Abstract

It was evident that the reduction in protein content of infected and healthy Eucalyptus leaves was observed. It was 1.72 mg/gm. fr.wt. for infected leaves and 2.15 mg/gmfr.wt. for healthy leaves of eucalyptus plant. While, The proline content of infected leaves ranges from 68.68 ± 3.11 μgm/fr.wt., 68.23 ± 1.11 and 50.53 ± 0.81 μgm/fr.wt. But the healthy leaf sample show higher proline content. It is observed that proline ranges from 99.25 ± 1.14, 95.24 ± 2.06 and 62.03 ± 1.50 μgm/fr.wt. for healthy leaves of eucalyptus plants.
