Abstract

Medicinalherbs have bioactive compounds which are used for curing of various human diseases and also play an important role in healing. The result was founded best of DPPH and FRAP activity in herbs. Secondary constituents contain Alkaloids, Glycosides, Terpenoids, Steroids, Tannins, Flavonoids, Saponins and phenols. Medicinal herbs have antimicrobial, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti inflammation and antidiuretic activities. The present study involves four different medicinal herbs powder of Asparagus racemosus W, Asparagus adscendens R, Punica granatum L and Dactylorhiza hatagirea herbs were antimicrobial, antifungal and provide the increase shelflife of food product. These herbs where used in making and enhancement of medicinal value in ice cream. The powder of herbs samples were used for the phytochemical analysis to find out phytochemical constituents in the selected medicinal herbs. The result of the phytochemical screening analysis of these medicinal herbs showed presence or absence of Glycosides, Alkaloids, Steroids, Terpenoids, Flavonoids, Tannins, phenols and Saponins in the selected medicinal herbs.
