Influenced of Organic and Inorganic Source of Nutrient on Marketable Yield of Summer Green Gram

Abstract

The field experiment was carried out at Agronomy Farm, Anand AgriculturalUniversity, Anand onthe during summer season of the year 2011–12. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design (factorial) with four replications. Among organic manures, farm yard manure was applied @ 4 t ha−1 and vermicompost applied @ 1 t ha−1and compared with no manure (control). In inorganic fertilizers, 50% RDF (10 kg N + 20 kg P2O5 ha−1), 75% RDF (15 kg N+ 30 kg P2O5 ha−1) and 100% RDF (20 kg N + 40 kg P2O5 ha−1) were applied and compared with control (no fertilizers). Application of FYM @4 tha1 recorded significantly higher seed (748 kg ha−1) and Stover (1477 kg ha−1) yield of green gram which was at par with application of vermicompost @ 1 t ha−1. Application of 100% RDF (20 kg N + 40 kg P2O5 ha1) recorded significantly higher seed (792 kg ha−1) and Stover (1540 kg ha−1) yield of green gram which was at par with application of 75% RDF (15 kg N + 30 kg P2O5 ha−1).
