Waterlogging at flowering stage resulted in greater decline in leaf chlorophyll content by 36.3%. Antioxidant enzymes viz., superoxide dismutase, peroxidase and catalase showed greater increase when waterlogged at vegetative stage by 69.2%, 29.7% and 19% respectively. Accumulation of these antioxidant enzymes is higher in TM 96-2 and LGG 460; hence tolerate waterlogging compared to LGG 407.
