Abstract

The in vitro evaluation of different ten fungicides was carried out against post harvest disease causing fungi of mandarin orange namely Aspergillus niger, Penicillium digitatum and Rhizopous stolonifer. Among ten fungicides tested, Potassium metabisulphide, Propiconazole and Hexaconazole completely inhibited the growth of fungus A.niger, it was followed by Captan (94.00%) and Difenconazole (94.00%). While Hexaconazole cent percent inhibited the growth of fungus P. digitatum, followedby Captan (94.00%) and Difenconazole (94.00%). The Copper oxychoride, Potassium metabisulphide, Hexaconazole, Propiconazole and Prophenophos cent percent inhibited the growth of fungus R. stolonifer, it was followed by Difenconazole (88.88%) and Tricyclazole (85.15%).
