Abstract

The present study was conducted in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh state. Adoption of the tomato production technology is important for increasing the production level. Hence, thisstudy was conducted to know the adoption level and it relationship with personal and socio-economical characteristics of tomato grower. The study revealed that tomato growers were medium level adoption of tomato production technology having detailed knowledge about important tomato production technology. The study also revealed that education, age, caste, land holding, type of family, housing pattern, occupation, social participation, annual income, innovativeness, economic motivation, scientific orientation, risk orientation were positivity significant associated with adoption of recommended tomato production technology.
