Performance of Brinjal (Var. White long) as Influenced by Foliar Spraying of Water Soluble Fertilizer

Field experiment was conducted to find out the effect of foliar spraying of water soluble fertilizers on the growth and yield of brinjal (var.white long). The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with three treatments replicated six times. Water soluble liquid fertilizers as foliar sprays three sprays along with recommended and 75 per cent of recommended dose of fertilizer was tested with brinjal as test crop. The results of the experiment revealed that among the different grades of water soluble fertilizers, foliar application of three sprays of NPK(19: 19: 19) along with 75 per cent recommended dose of fertilizer recorded maximum plant height, highest fruit weight, fruits plant⁻¹, fruit yield and BC ratio.
