Abstract

Nine isolates of Alternaria species were collected from different locations of Jabalpur (M.P.) for study the radial growth and sporulation in the different levels temperature. It was clear from the results that, all the isolates showed significant variation for radial growth and sporulation at different ranges of temperature. Among the nine isolates of Alternaria species indicates that, the maximum growth was noted at 25 ÚC. However, the minimum growth was observed at 15 ÚC and no growth was observed at 10°C. The growth of mycelium was stable at each time intervals. Each isolates of Alternaria species grown on potato dextrose agar media with temperature range of 15–30°C.
