A study on silage production was laid out in CRD with 5 additives as treatments i.e. Urea 2%, Jaggery 2%, Urea 1% + Jaggery 1%, Molasses 2% and no additives with 3 replications. pH of silages were in acceptable limit of 3.76 to4.56. Ensiling with urea 2% or urea 1% + jaggery 1% produced good quality silage with crude protein content of 13.290% and 12.753% respectively and crude fibre content of 30.816% and 28.623% respectively. The highest EEF and NFE were recorded by molasses 2%. Additives did not significantly influence ash, acid insoluble ash and recovery percentage.
