The present investigation entitled “Studies on Correlation studies between incidence of diseases and kharif sesamum cultivars under different sowing times” was carried during kharif, 2013 at Department of Agricultural Meteorology Farm, College of Agriculture, Pune, Maharashtra State (India). The experiment was conducted in a factorial randomized block design with three replications. Twelve treatment combinations were formed considering different varieties viz., Phule Till-1(V1), AKT-101(V2), JLT-7(V3), Padma (V4) and sowing times viz., MW-26 (25 Jun.-1 July-S1), MW-27 (2 July-8 July-S2), MW-28 (9 July-15 July-S3) and MW-29 (16 July-22 July-S4). When AKT-101 variety of sesamum was sown during 27th MW, the incidence of diseases was lower as compared to other varieties and sowing times which resulted in maximum grain yield with better quality.
