The present study was carried out to know the effect of Effect of storage conditions and containers on seed moisture content and seedling dry weight in green gram cv. Shinymoong at Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur. Among the storage conditions the seeds stored under commercial cold storage condition (S2) recorded lowest (0.788 dSm−1) electrical conductivity value than ambient storage condition S1 (0.823 dSm−1) after ten months of storage period. The seeds stored under commercial cold storage condition (S2) recorded higher dehydrogenase enzyme activity (0.478 OD value) compared toambient condition S1 (0.422 OD value) after ten months of storage period. The seeds stored in polylined gunny bag (C2) recorded higher dehydrogenase enzyme activity (0.467 OD value) followedby HDPE, C3 (0.448 OD value). The seeds stored in cloth bag (C1) recorded lower dehydrogenase enzyme activity (0.435 OD value).
