This experiment was carried out to evaluate the effect of efficient phosphate solubilizing bacteria on growth of chick pea under greenhouse conditions. The parameters like Germination percentage, plant height, and plant biomass were recorded. The results indicated there was no significant difference among the treatments with respect to germination percentage. In general, the inoculation of efficient PSB isolates significantly increased the plant height and biomass than control. The height and biomass of Chickpea plants were significantly increased in the treatment T4 (ACP-3 + RDF) inoculated with the efficient PSB isolate ACP-3 over control. This was on par with the reference strain.
