Attitude of Pesticide Users Towards The Use of Pesticides

The present investigation was undertaken in Tapi district of South Gujarat. Total 150 respondents were selected for the study. The information on characteristics of pesticide users was collected in light of the objectives of the study with the help of well-structured pre-tested Gujarati version of interview schedule. The findings of the investigation revealed that majority (73.33 per cent) of the respondentshad moderately favorable attitudetowards use of pesticide and independent variables studied e.g. education, occupation, annual income, economic motivation and scientific orientation were positively and highly significantly correlated with attitude toward use of pesticides.
