Abstract

A study was carried out to analyse the constraint experienced by farmers in mixed farming of Dantiwada taluka in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat. The study was conducted in 10 villages from Dantiwada taluka of Banaskantha district through developed interview schedule or Questionnaire by personally interviewing 160 farmers. The respondents stated their constraint as High price of concentrate (81.25%), Price fluctuation in sale of crops (75.00%), High price of dry fodder (28.12%), Unavailability of green fodder (21.87%), Poor result of AI (Artificial Insemination) (62.50%) and Repeat breeding (37.50%)
