Abstract

Field experiment was conducted during summer 2012–13 at the Main Agricultural Research Station, Dharwad, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad to study the effect of split application of nitrogen and potassium, increased zinc and boron levels with one control on summer greengram under deficit irrigation. The treatments were fitted in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with factorial concept. The results of experiment revealed that significantly higher seed yield and water use efficiency (WUE) was recorded with split application of nitrogen and potassium. Yield and growth parameters increased with increase in zinc and boron levels.
