Wilt is an important disease of chilli crop causing significant reduction in yield. In the present study, the pathogenic fungus was isolated from the infected plant parts and was identified as Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici based on the morphological and cultural features. In this context, an In vitro evaluation of botanical extracts and fungicides used to control the pathogen. Among ten leaf extracts tested. Neem seed kernel extract at 10 per cent (54.49%) was significantly superior over all other plant extracts. Next best was custard leaf at 10 per cent (52.50%).among the four systemic fungicides evaluated, Carbendazim (91.66%) was significantly superior over other treatments, followed by Propiconazole (85.16%) and among the non-systemic fungicides tested, mancozeb at 0.3 per cent was found very effective against all the non-systematic chemicals followed by propineb at 0.3 per cent.
