The trial was conducted at Viramgam, Dhandhuka, Khapat and Kukda. Except Dhandhuka, the differences in seed cotton yield due to genotypes were significant at all locations and in pooled analysis. The pooled analysis revealed that Genotype Gvhv 602 had produced numerically higher seed cotton yield of 2079 kg/ha which was closely followed by Gvhv 660 (2054 kg/ha), G Cot 21 (2003 kg/ha) and Gvhv 655 (2006 kg/ha). Gvhv 655 had produced highest lint yield of 934 kg/ha with highest tenacity of 21.1 g/tex and 24.9 mm fibre length. Its micronaire value was 4.7 μg/inch and GOT value was 46.5%. There is no significant G X E interaction found in stability analysis in compare with pooled deviation as well as with pooled error. It may be due to similarity in climatic condition of all the location where the study has been conducted.
