Efficacies of different locally available plant extracts obtained from leaveswere screenedfor their capability to inhibit the mycelial growth of Drechslera glycini. Extracts of Allium sativum, Argemon mexicana, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Zingiber officinale, Azadirachta indica, Parthenium argentatum, Thuja occidentalis and Lantana sp. All 8 botanical extracts were used and results showed that At 10 per cent dilution, maximum mycelial growth inhibition was observed with Lantana camara (34.11%) and minimum with Alliumsativum (2.35%) and At 20 per cent dilution, maximum mycelial growth inhibition was recorded in Ginger (33.41%), and minimum with Garlic (1.64%). In present investigation, the result of experiment showed, plant extracts i.e. of Eupatorium, Lantana, Garlic, Thuja, Neem, Argemon, Ginger and Parthenium were found effective for the first time and they may have economic significance in the management of test pathogen.
