The groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) is the most popular oilseed crop in India. The present investigation was conducted in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh during the year 2014–15. The district covered largest area and production under groundnut. For this study, 4 blocks were selected purposively i.e Gharghoda, Tamnar, Lailunga, and Dharamjaigarh blocks were considered for this study. From each selected block, 5 villages (Total 5 X 4 = 20) were selected. From each selected village, 8 groundnut growers were selected randomly thus the total 160 groundnut growers were considered as respondents for the present study. The result found that majority of the respondents (66.87%) had medium extent of adoption regarding management practices of diseases of groundnut crop, followed by 20.63 per cent of the respondents who had low extent of adoption whereas 12.50 per cent of the respondents had high extent of adoption regarding management practices of diseases of groundnut crop.
