The planet earth is being surrounded by several types of waste materials. The major percentage waste includes the cellulosic waste. Congo red dye which have its significance in various areas such as textile: dyeing industry, in laboratories for screening of cellulase; specifically carboxy methyl cellulose(CMC), congophilic test is availed as a histological stain.
