Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during kharif, 2013 at Agricultural College Farm, Raichur to study the influence of fertilization levels on yield and yield attributes of Bt-cotton (Gossypium hirusutum L.) under irrigated condition. The experimental design was laid out in randomized complete block (RCBD) with nine treatments replicated thrice. The results revealed that application of 150% RDF (225: 112.5: 112.5 NPK kg/ha) recorded the higher number of bolls per plant (51.0), boll weight (6.56 g), ginning percentage (51.60), kapas yield per plant (146.20 g), seed cotton yield (3237 kg/ha), gross returns (Rs. 1, 02, 656/ha), net returns (Rs. 70, 573/ha) and B: C ratio (3.2), respectively as compared to the other fertilization levels.
