Abstract

16 isolates of Trichoderma isolated from rhizospheric soil samples of different crop regions were tested for their tolerance and biomass production at different pH levels. A significant level of variation in biomass production was observed among all the strains at observed pH levels of 4.0, 5.0, 7.0, 9.0 and 10.0. Maximum number of isolates showed high biomass production at pH 7. Among all the tested isolates the isolate TsC2 was wide adopted to different ranges of pH.
