Abstract

A field experiment was carried out on the deep Black soil of Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari (Gujarat) during summer season of 2014. The weed free treatment produced the highest seed yield wcich was at par with Pendimethalin@ 1.000 Kg ha−1as PE + Hand weeding at 30 DAS and Oxyfluorfen @ 0.180 kg ha−1 PE+ Hand weeding at 30 DAS. However, among the other treatments, Pendimethalin @ 1.000 Kg ha1 as PE + Hand weeding at 30 DAS was found superior in controlling the weed flora and increasing the seed yield. Unweeded check produced the lowest seed yield.
