Epidemiological studies on Phytophthora foot and leaf rot disease of betelvine proved that, the foot rot incidence was high between 2nd week of December and 1st week of February and peak incidence was recorded in 3rd week of January. Among all the weather parameters, minimum temperature and morning relative humidity were important factors which influenced the incidence up to 85 per cent.
