Field experiment was conducted on Pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan, L. Mill sp.) during Kharif 2013 to find out the bioeffecacy of different microbial and botanical biopesticides against Pigeonpea pod borer i.e.Helicoverpa armigera and Exelastis atomosa. The results showed that lowest larval population was observed in treatment Quinalphos @ 350 g a.i./ha which excelled over all other treatments in reducing H.armigera whether neem oil 300 ppm and azadirachtin 1000 ppm proved to be the best in reducing mean population of E.atomosa which was 1.24 and 1.27 larvae/plant, respectively. Plant extracts were least effective to control different pod borers as compared to microbial pesticides.
