India has various indigenous group communities. These are divided in the geographical criteria and cultural criteria. They have their own dialects, society and culture. All these communities have some different characteristics features to each other, whenever some common things are also found. However, all these communities have belief that they have a common origin and belief that they are originated from the nature. Because, their whole life is depend on the nature and they always belief and pray to nature based God and Goddess. The State of Bastar is reach cultural heritage and the people of Bastar are much closed to nature. The Dantesawary Mata is most prominent deity of the people of Bastar. Apart from this people of Bastar also prays to deferent nature based deities. This paper is based on the Bhandarin Mata Jatra system. This jatra is performed since ancient time, for the well being of the village and people. In this jatra all the villagers of the different communities are equally participated and give their support to this Jatra. In this Jatra traditional folk and traditional dance are also performed. Now, a day with the effect of modernization on the bastar, their life style is changed. However, people of this areas are performed this ritual with the belief that Bhandarin devi save him with all the bad evils and they save their traditional cultural belief system.
