(Truth of Partial Education Among the Oraon Tribe of Rarha Panchayat, Kanke Block)

Kanke block of Ranchi district is more developed in almost all aspects including education. Since 1845 the Oraon of this block is improving their way of life by adopting Christianity. The Christian missionaries provided well equipped schools in and around Kanke Block. A good number of Oraons became Teachers, Administrators, Doctors, Engineers, Nurses, Sainik etc. from Kanke town, but the wave of education has not reached to the Oraons of Rarha Panchayat. Rarha Panchayat having 22 villages situated in hilly region. Main occupation of the Oraon is daily workers and collection of edible food from the forest. There are only four utkramit middle schools for the entire panchayat. Almost zero percentage educational environment has been seen except Sutiyambe and Rarha school. The Authoress has tried to attract the attention of Government towards the educational truth among the Oraons of this area in era of 21st century. Some fruitful suggestions have been made to improve the educational scenario.
